Whether you are competing at the highest level or simply enjoy riding your horses for pleasure\, the principles of Rider Biomechanics make complicated ideas simple and answer age-old questions. Most riders will remember being told that they should sit straight\, withtheir thumbs on top and their heels down – but many riders don’t know why these are important. Topics covered will include: position\, balance and seat\, effects of natural asymmetry\, the training scale and how some common riding habits can have a negative impact on the horse.
