As part of the North Dakota Equine Association’s Equine Education Retreat, join us for a second day of equine emergency first aid, where we deal with more severe injuries. Learn what to do in more extreme situations! Covers a wide range of injuries, including: severe gut
wounds, burns, bites & stings, fractures, sucking chest wounds, and the trapped horse. This course prepares the student to handle serious injuries while in wilderness and remote locations. Ten hands-on scenarios provide an opportunity for students to put knowledge and skills into practice.All attendees receive a certificate of completion and a manual.
(Equine Health & Emergency First Aid, offered the day before, is a pre-requisite for attending the Advanced class).
